Those Things that New Players Say & Update

Hey Boo,

I watched a squirty plays by Sterling the other day of an Adult Visual Novel. A friend said it was really mean because it made light of the daz models having glassy eyes and being still. But it didn't strike me as mean because it is all true. There are some daz assets that look more realistic than others and there are some quirks to visual novels that don't stick out as much with animated or background only novels.

It has been a while since someone told me that my characters had dead eyes. As I have heard more from people who have played daz games, I have heard less feedback for things I can't do anything about. I still get get feedback that I can't do anything with but  but it is still nice to have. But I remember that feedbad originally and remember feeling like there really wasn't anything I could do about it. Daz is it's own beast and I still don't have a firm grasp on what every setting does. None of that seems paticularlly important to because it isn't.

I don't know how much of a good thing it is to have less contact with normal people's feedback. The best renders will still look jarring to a new player. There are some amazing daz artists that post to the daz galery and they look amazingly realistic. But I haven't seen any of them make a visual novel.  Again, I don't think a photorealist visual novel would be better and don't think it would make it easier for new people to get into it.

The more people are exposed to visual novels and art from Daz 3D or Honey Select, the more things just stop bothering them. Daz models have dead eyes and people notice it until they don't. It is just one of those things new players say.

Update!
I've been writing and trying to balance my time at my new job and at home. Part of me feels like I could have been done by now. Part of me feels like I wouldn't have the same perspective going from objective to objective if it was all squished together. For one, I have animations that I don't hate and plan on using. It gives me pause to think about pauses and scenes. It is crap for my momentuem. If only there was a way for people to patron my work.

Oh hey, if I let another site host the images, I can put bigger stuff into my post. Doing it.

Playing with cameras is fun but it makes some weird images.

Chapter three we learn more about our love interests and their friends, antagonists, and problems. I don't think I've posted about the twins before.  At the of chapter 2 it was revealed that Grace is in a band called The Frenchest Revolution and Grace is deadset on clinging onto you.

Patrons get the most info but not more than you will get actaully expiriencing the game. Patrons on Patreon or SubscribeStar also see more of the characters in monthly specail renders ever second wednesday of the month! I put more detail in my last post: https://thesugarray.itch.io/candied-oblivion/devlog/290262/september-update-neve...
See more of the twins this month. (Oops, more redheads.)

Dude, amazing renders. It is refreshing to see an engaging storyline in a adult VN.  If I could I would donate but I will enjoy your story none the less.  Thank you!
