April Baskin Progress Report: How is it going?

Slower than I want. Dayjob work has been stressful. I think between 3-5k more words and chapter 1 will be complete. I'm going to get some solid estimates next Wednesday. I salvaged what I could from an animation that had the daz file corrupted. It isn't as good because I had to reverse some images to complete the loop but I'm pretty happy with it. I wrote that part of the intro a while ago. Go off, past me. When I forget about the part that I wanted to get the first update out by now, I'm doing great!

Baskin All-IN

I've replaced the old assets that I only had placeholders for, like Cindy's store. There will still be some jank. Like the call to Tulip in the intro, which I want to be dreamlike.

I also had a second sex animation in mind. I really like just having a million angles on the girls during sex. That was the trade-off in my mind. I'm not giving up on the million angles but I do plan to make a few of those angles animated now. 

The image is a complete guess. I haven't started planning what images I will need to go in the script. I have all of the characters designed and I have the trickiest scenes set up.

Writing
The first chapter will be very similar to what is on the demo. The main difference will be two new scenes. The dinner and handing out with Reiner. I skipped these scenes because they were things that do not add to the core draw of the game in a way that would make Baskin stand out from the other games in the demo disk. There are a bunch of characters introduced and some family drama. Ideally, the addition of the scenes makes the first chapter have something for everyone. For people who want more girls, there are more girls. For the people who want more time with their sisters, there is more sister time!

I thought about adding the scenes and then just making chapter two and the first release of the game will be chapter 2. But hanging out with Reiner and the funeral are two huge instances of introducing characters. So, I'm pacing myself.

There are a lot of people that don't even bother with games until the third update. So, they won't even know.
