6,000 Offical Downloads
Last night, as I laid my head to sleep, I got my SIX THOUSANDTH DOWNLOAD! Thank you all for showing an interest in my game, the thumbnail, and description, or at least the thumbnail and downloading my little game.
That is official Itchio Downloads because I cannot track f95 and similar 3rd party sites.
It was exciting to hit a thousand downloads just a few short hours after I launched Chapter 1 but it has been very nice to see that seldom did an hour go by without someone downloading the game.

It is amazing. You are amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope we all feel connected in some way.

The 1.04 Update for Android
Almost everything I say below about the general update is still true for the android version. I tried to launch the android version after I fixed things in the main version because I don't want to mess with patches on mobile. That being said, the update is smaller and includes all of the corrections from 1.02. BUT ALSO

I coded back in the hide button! Originally renpy ports to the hide button. So, there was no way to hide the dialogue and take a screenshot or just enjoy the images. I was able to code it back in thanks to V4mp who makes New Adventure and is a part of the team that makes Promises. Thank you V4mp!

1.04 General
 The 1.04 update is 570 mb and the original game file size is 880 mb. It is just smaller. There are some minor changes too but I am not making a patch. It is just smaller. In a way, it is like a negative update. 

While working on Chapter 2, I have been converting the PNGs from chapter 1 to webp. They are slightly smaller. NO RETURNING PLAYERS NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE 1.04 UPDATE.

That's right 6900, nice, words. It might get a little fatter before it rolls out. 

305 images! It is almost a shame I ran out of stuff to render. 

My to-do list to get chapter two is
-Edit and convert images *DONE
-Image names programmed *DONE
-Revise script
-Playtest.

*Update to the update. I have finished photo editing and naming all 277 of the new images. (also the word count is at 7,600)
I tossed and combined some images and worked it down to 277. There may be a few dozen more knocked off as I get to place them in the script. 
Thanks to webp and jpegs the total image file size went from 600 mb with pngs to 314. oh, wait. before any animations are added. I just remembered that. I was about to make a promise but now, I'm not.
