Romancing the Sun
Date and find love or the sun goes out.
The player character is half out of (his/her/their) senior year of high school when a shared dream with Grandma lets them know that someone in the family must be in love or the sun will go out.
Love is totally the kind of thing you rush under pressure. Best friends, parties, personal obligations, and looming exes couldn't possibly be a problem.
Story
The player reconnects with a Dawn, a college student and friend that drifted apart. The player asks Dawn out for a casual date right before the sun goes dark for several minutes unleashing chaos around the player.
The sun is in the process of going out and the player finding love is the only thing that will keep it burning.
The player will date, meet the community around them, and prepare for the apocalypse.
The player discovers that there are certain conditions and norms that might need an apocalypse to improve.

Dawn
Dawn Hernandez is the love interest. She is a compassionate woman that hasn't chosen a direction for her life yet. She won't get the chance if the sun goes out first.
Dawn's best and one of few remaining friends is Conney.
Conney
Conney Avond is Dawn's best friend, who has gotten very busy preparing for her future to the detriment of her friendships and she urges everyone else to do the same.
No relationships. No distractions.
If Conney doesn't like the player, it results in a game over.
Kusi
Kusihlwa Washington is the player's Best friend and aspiring epic party host.
Kusi is an enthusiastic spirit who assumes people know more than him. He would patiently wait for someone to finish talking to inform them that the building was on fire because he would assume they already know.
Gran
Grandma Daisy shares the prophetic dreams with the player. She has held the secret that the family lineage having a member be in a loving relationship is what fuels our star.
Tenga
Tenga Hari has always been in the proximity of older cool people. This year she has found herself alone and wondering why everything has changed around her.
Ximena
Ximena Ajuste is annoyed. Nothing is working or comfortable and she doesn't know why. But if she feels bad, that's reason enough to treat people bad.
Sueng
Seung Daenaj is the player's character’s ex girlfriend. She is a cool girl that will rattle off bands and expect you to know them. It wouldn't be cool if she showed up.
