Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas or your preferred Yule-time holiday. The days are about to get longer and that is universally a good thing unless you live in the southern hemisphere.

The Us and parts of Europe have really screwed up this whole, help-people-or-thousands-will-die-of-the-virus thing. So, the safest and most responsible thing is to stay in your home and play video games!

I get really excited when the little creator banner thing tells me that I can put our game on sale and I want to be included on that list but this and the next update of the game will be free. So, I can't put it on sale.

When putting together a Christmas ensemble, I of course stapped up the free stuff from the daz store but one thing slipped by me.
I didn't realize I was downloading a Christmas doomsday cannon.

These things are supposed to be announcements about the game, I can't just wish everyone happy holidays. So here is the Wisconsin skinny on our progress.

Script-done
assets-done

Here is some programming details are taken from estimations of the story word doc. These numbers won't reflect the total story word count because there are asset tags in there "show dawn party happy." Those constant commands really stack up. They look like this:

scene hot tub1

show dawn hottub 1 smile

d "We're lucky there aren't very many people in it!{w} I'd feel like a creep if I stared at a hot tub full of people."

show dawn hot tub 1

show dawn hot tub 1 smile 1

d "The water feels nice. I wish I could get in."

15,399 words of the script are programmed. More because there are tags programmed that don't appear in the word doc.

4,773 words of the script have been edited and approved and are waiting for

17,143 words yet to be edited and programmed.

This is taking so long because we both choose and work our own hours. Ideally, the game can be done in four more hours of editing, and ten hours of programming, plus however long it takes to playtest and deal with beta volunteers. Bees Knees has set her goal to program about an hour a week of each. So, that is why I set the January expectation in my last update.

*My render count does not include the holiday and promotional images but I have made more and added them to the game. I'm just going to stop counting until the programming is done and I know that I have stopped adding more.
